The above photo is of the 3rd Platoon, Company A, 64th Infantry Training Battalion. Shown on the top row, fifth from the left is Lloyd Leep, a stonemason who was killed in an auto accident at the age of 64 by a drunk driver. Lloyd was sent to Australia and then participated as a Ranger in the invasion of the Philippines. He contracted malaria and was discharged as an Airplane Mechanic in the Army Airforce in 1945.
